The Pink Singers are an 80+ strong mixed voice choir singing everything from Bach, madrigals, early folk, classical, opera, show tunes, jazz and contemporary rock and pop and all shades in-between both accapella and accompanied. We were formed in 1983 to bring some music to the Pride Parade in London and have gone from strength to strength since then. We are proud to be Europe's oldest mixed gay choir and put as much emphasis on the social and 'family' aspect of the choir as on the music. We sing 99% of our repertoire from memory and have fun (and some struggles!) in adding choreography to some of our up tempo numbers. We do also love to include some comedy when songs allow (the boys' Sweet talking Guy medley comes to mind!). We are proud to be ambassadors of the gay choral community in Europe and have performed in many countries including Malta, Greece and the United States.
